Galimberti: three generations in love with the beautiful and well-made.
Galimberti has been working in the field of designer furniture for three generations, and, in this last year, the company has rebranded itself by becoming Galimberti Interiors and introducing a new format and a new product and service proposal related to interior design and high quality furniture.
Galimberti’s history in the furniture and designer furniture sector began in the 1940s in Varedo: during that period the company produced innovative curved wood furniture based on technical experiments arriving in Italy from Northern Europe. Thereafter, Galimberti began to resell furniture produced by other leading Italian companies in the design furniture sector, while establishment as a point of reference came in 1960 with the construction and relocation to the Castiglione Olona showroom: a 12,000 square metre shop designed as an exhibition and transport and assembly logistics centre. Since then, Galimberti has designed and furnished houses throughout Italy and Europe, including contract work for hotels, accommodations and offices.

For 25 years Galimberti has been based in Marchirolo, in the province of Varese, in a showroom of 1500 square metres. The interior of the building underwent extensive renovation in order to better display the new range of designer furniture and furnishings. The shop is split over three floors where each room in the home is given plenty of space: the comfort of the night is dealt with in a special area with mattresses and pillows, while proposals for children’s rooms and bathrooms are presented in a separate area. There is also plenty of space for the living area and kitchens, with furnishing ideas from the best design brands on the national and international scene. Not just rooms and spaces in the home, but also floor and wall coverings: an entire area, in fact, is dedicated specifically to materials for architecture with a diverse offering.
